Deadpool 2 has been a highly successful sequel to Ryan Reynolds’ breakout R rated portrayal of the 4th wall breaking Merc with a Mouth. And now, hot off the heels of Reynolds and Fox announcing a ‘Super Duper Cut’ for the film’s home release, the NY Post has released a pic of a huge cameo that everyone missed in the initial theatrical release. Fan theories are a dime a dozen. Most of them border on insanity or downright perversion, but a few will come along that not only make sense, but have the possibility to end up coming to fruition. The latest theory that is gaining traction with fans (it has a 78% UpVote rating at the time of this writing) deals with Avengers 4 and The Hulk in a somewhat familiar role from the comics. The theory comes from a Reddit user and begins by saying: “Thanos will put Black Widow’s life in danger which will get Bruce really angry but still…

Ant-Man and The Wasp is currently Number 1 in the theaters, making it 20 for 20 with Marvel movies taking the number one spot on opening weekend. Now we’ve only got 2 films left in the MCU’s Phase 3, and they are sure to pack a major punch for fans going into Phase 4. The Ant-Man sequel was a fun and lighter tone to help deal with some of the emotional turmoil left from Avengers: Infinity War, but it, too, had its major impact – and that impact could play a big part in Avengers 4. *SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ‘ANT-MAN…

With all the hype behind the plethora of superhero films in 2018, one in particular has kind of flown under the radar a bit. The anti-hero movie, Venom, is set to come out this fall, but it has been lost in the shuffle of all the MCU films (Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and the upcoming Captain Marvel and Avengers 4), Deadpool 2’s meteoric success, and all the news on DC’s projects (Aquaman, Shazam!, and two Joker flicks). The Tom Hardy movie is starting to push out its chest a bit, with new official pictures and…

Besides a few exceptions, MCU films have a tendency to kill off their villains at the end of each film. However, we have recently seen the return of Red Skull from his apparent demise in Avengers: Infinity War and now, thanks to the director of both Ant-Man films, Peyton Reed, there may be a chance for the return of another villain: Yellow Jacket. That’s right, Darren Cross, the evil scientist/businessman who tries to recreate Pym Particles and eventually dons the Yellow Jacket suit, may very well be alive in the Quantum Realm. During an interview with Screen Junkies, Reed is…

And, boy, is it a doozy. Here’s a breakdown of that very scene. ***WARNING!!! MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!! *** As the film ends, Janet Van Dyne (the original Wasp) has been saved from the Quantum Realm via Pym’s Quantum Tunnel, but she’s not quite the same woman she was when she went in. She has ‘evolved” some new abilities, mainly the ability to “Quantum Heal” people. However, she uses…

It is a sad day in the comic book world. Steve Ditko, the legendary artist who created one of the world’s most iconic characters in Spider-Man, has passed away in his Manhattan home on June 29th, according to the New York Police Department. The cause of death has been revealed as “arteriosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease” which essentially means a heart attack caused by clogged arteries. Ditko will be best remembered as bringing Stan Lee’s vision of an awkward teen who gains great powers to life in Spider-Man. After Jack Kirby took a stab at the character, Lee wasn’t pleased…

Marvel Studios really has their filmmaking format and techniques down to a science. Instead of trying to use a Writer’s room collaboration style to their films, they allow multiple writers and directors to tackle characters how they see fit. They give guidelines and overall arcs they want for the film, but they don’t micromanage to a point where every film ends up exactly the same. Ant-Man and The Wasp may be the best example of this yet. The first Ant-Man film was a fun romp that helped introduce the world to Scott Lang, aka the modern Ant-Man. Whilst the film…
