Back in May, popular theater chain Alamo Drafthouse had ‘Women Only’ screenings for Wonder Woman. Per the theater chain’s announcement: The most iconic superheroine in comic book history finally has her own movie, and what better way to celebrate than with an all-female screening? Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying “No Guys Allowed” for one special night at the Alamo Ritz. And when we say “Women (and People Who Identify As Women) Only,” we mean it. Everyone working at this screening — venue staff, projectionist, and culinary team — will be female. So lasso your geeky…

To say that the reboot of ‘The Crow’ has had some trouble would be a massive understatement. The film has gone through numerous director and casting changes. Actors ranging from Mark Wahlberg to Bradley Cooper have been attached to the film at one point, only to drop out. Jason Momoa was set to star in the title role, with Corin Hardy as the director. The film was even scheduled to begin production in January of this year, but then it was announced that Relativty lost the rights to the film. It was announced that Samuel Hadida’s Davis Films, Electric Shadow and Highland…

It’s been well documented that we were supposed to receive a 3rd film in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ franchise. We didn’t, though, because the film underwhelmed at the Box Office (in terms of a Spider-Man film) and Sony made a deal with Marvel Studios. There hasn’t been much revealed about what exactly would be in a third film, but while speaking with Den of Geek, director Marc Webb revealed: “Yeah, we were talking about the Sinister Six. They were going to make a Sinister Six movie before we did the third one. But I wanted…Chris Cooper was going to come back…

Despite having two mega stars in Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, 2016’s Passengers didn’t do all that great at the Box Office – or review wise. Critics bashed it as being openly accepting of ‘sexism’ and date rape, among other things. Well, it turns out that Jennifer Lawrence agrees with those criticisms and is actually disapointed in herself for not noticing it sooner. In a recent interview with Vogue, Lawrence said:  “I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t spot it. I thought the script was beautiful — it was this tainted, complicated love story. It definitely wasn’t a failure. I’m not…

Alien: Covenant was a film that was met with mixed reviews, but was considered better than 2012’s Prometheus. Unsurprisingly, Screen Junkies have made a hilarious ‘Honest Trailer’ for the film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njlXBc8Q7o4&feature=youtu.be The film’s sub-par Box Office apparently even has FOX thinking twice about making another film, according to a recent report: Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant dropped 71 percent in its second weekend, and has earned $232 million worldwide. Sources say Fox will have to reassess two intended sequels Scott has pitched while he is off helming Getty kidnapping movie All the Money in the World and then drug lord drama…

We already know that things are going to change for the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers: Infinity War. What that is exactly – remains to be seen. A new “leak” may have revealed Marvel’s potential plans for The Avengers lineup after the superhero team-up film – and it’s definitely interesting. Per We Got This Covered: According to them, Avengers 5, which will presumably be with us during Phase 4, will be called either New Avengers or Mighty Avengers. Not only that, but it will also include Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, the Wasp and possibly Moon Knight, who’s apparently set to be introduced into the…

Ever since A.J. Styles has been in the WWE, there have been many potential amazing matches that fans have been eagerly waiting to see. While he hasn’t been in the WWE ring with the likes of Shinsuke or Seth Rollins – it could happen. While at Wizard World Columbus this past weekend, we were able to get Styles’ personal picks on who he’d still like to wrestle in a WWE match: “There’s a couple guys that I’m looking forward to getting into the ring with whether it’s Shinsuke or Finn or Seth. You know, guys like that – or even…

It’s no secret that FOX doesn’t exactly know how to make a good Fantastic Four film. Sure, some people may like the 2005 version, but the films that followed after were universally panned by fans and critics alike. Though, the 2005 and 2007 films look like movies that could contend for Best Picture at The Academy Awards compared to the film we were given in 2015. A film so bad, even the auditioning process was silly – according to Mads Mikkelsen’s alleged Doctor Doom audition: “I didn’t walk out. When I left it, I was just like – this is…

Back in May, it was announced that we would finally be getting a Judge Dredd TV series. The upcoming show, Judge Dredd: Mega-City One, was met with quite a bit of fan enthusiasm – but one thing that was noticeably absent from the announcement? Karl Urban. Well, while speaking at the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention, the actor revealed (via TrekMovie.com) that he’s talking to the people behind the series about reprising the role: “I am in discussions with them about that,” Urban revealed. “I told them that if they write the material and give Dredd something to do and…
