Earlier in the week, we reported on the following Reddit post about Black Adam being the main villain in Man of Steel 2 and the Shazam film being cancelled. Per the Reddit post: “No. I will not tell you how I know any of this in order to not jeopardize my position. Firstly, Black Adam will be the main villain in Man of Steel 2. The idea was tossed around of possibly making an appearance in the sequel, even if it was only brief. This later evolved into Adam becoming the villain due to the fact WB did not feel…

When a few pictures were released for Thor: Ragnarok a couple months back, one thing was noticeably missing. Karl Urban as Skurge The Executioner. All we had seen before the trailer was released today was Karl Urban posting this on Twitter: https://twitter.com/KarlUrban/status/757539282152062976 Well, now, thanks to the new Thor: Ragnarok trailer, we’re given a very BRIEF glimpse at the actor as the Marvel character that I managed to take a screenshot of: Compared to the comic look, for the most part, it seems pretty accurate. Here’s hoping that the actor’s performance in the film can get people talking about something else…

It was reported back in February that Mel Gibson was the favorite to direct the upcoming sequel to Suicide Squad. According to a recent 4chan leak, however, that isn’t the case. Per the leak: “Mel Gibson is no longer the front runner to direct the Suicide Squad sequel. Jaume Collet-Serra and Ruben Fleischer are now the top candidates. The script is currently being written with a story pitch given by Ayer. Killer Frost will be the new female lead to replace Harley Quinn.” Obviously just a rumor but we haven’t really heard much about it since the initial report. Many…

Earlier this week, some upcoming plans were leaked for the future of The DCEU (which seems to be changing all the time) but one thing that was interestingly noted, is that the upcoming Batman film will have Deathstroke – but not as the main villain. Per the latest leak (linked below): “The Batman film will still have Deathstroke but not as a main villain. Matt Reeves wants to do a larger scale Batman film that will include the Bat family as well as most of Batman’s rogues.” This is not only interesting because it’s been reported that Deathstroke will be the…

For those of you who were young during the late 90’s/early 2000’s, you probably remember a lot of movies being better than what they actually were. That’s not to say that there weren’t a lot of good movies that were released during that time period – but it happens with all of us. One of the movies I remember being “interesting” was Deep Blue Sea. While I didn’t really remember much of it until I re-watched it when it was on HBO a few months back, one scene that stuck with me was this one with Samuel L. Jackson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz1J9PUcMQ0…

Back in September, we reported on the details of the New Warriors series that Marvel was planning. One of our sources gave us some interesting information about the potential lineup of the upcoming team-up series – that included Squirrel Girl. One of the most anticipated releases for 2017 is Spider-Man: Homecoming. It’s the first Spider-Man film to be set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and many are very excited after Tom Holland’s performance in Captain America: Civil War. While speaking to MTV, Holland revealed that he’d like to see a certain Spider-Man villain appear and be played by a very interesting actor: “You know what? Kraven is one of my favorites for a cameo. I always wanted Aquaman to play Kraven, but he’s now DC. I thought that would be super cool.” IF you think about it, the casting would…
