New concept art from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have hit the internet – and it shows just what could have been for Ben Affleck’s portrayal of the iconic character (not to say what we got wasn’t great). Yesterday, we reported that Matt Reeves could potentially be directing more than one Batman film. That appears to no longer be the case. According to a new report from THR, Mel Gibson is close to joining The DCEU – as a director. Per the report: “Mel Gibson is mulling joining the DC Cinematic Universe … as a director. Over the summer, Brock Lesnar had a UFC comeback that surprised many – due to the fact that he was still under contract with WWE at the time.
