For anyone who watched Making a Murderer, you could definitely tell that Brendan Dassey most definitely wasn’t guilty of the crime he was being accused. Whether it was the lack of evidence or the police officers pressuring him into saying something, none of it seemed right. Well, today in a Milwaukee court, a federal judge overturned Dassey’s initial conviction: RULING: Federal court finds Brendan Dassey’s confession was involuntary under 5th/14th Amendments. #MakingAMurderer pic.twitter.com/yv0496UUDF — Chris Geidner (@chrisgeidner) August 12, 2016 Here’s the critical section from the Judge’s decision: “…the state courts unreasonably found that the investigators never made Dassey any…

Earlier this week, a teaser trailer for a trailer (yeah, it’s reached that point) was released for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. There weren’t many details given other than when to expect it. Earlier in the year, there was some footage leaked but quickly taken down that featured Darth Vader but didn’t actually show him. You could just hear the breathing over the very blurry footage. But now, the trailer has been released – and you definitely see him this time! Check it out below: Beautiful – wasn’t it? From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One:…

Hugh Jackman may have just pushed fan theories to the limit with his new Instagram post. Many have theorized the next Wolverine film would be an adaptation of the Old Man Logan storyline from the comics, and according to this new picture of Jackman looking quite aged, it may indeed be the case: Now that’s what I’m talking about! A photo posted by Hugh Jackman (@thehughjackman) on Aug 10, 2016 at 4:58am PDT However, this might not be the case, as the actor has had cases of skin cancer in the past and could just be suffering from legitimate health…

According to Entertainment Weekly, on the 25th anniversary of Nickelodeon, we will be seeing the return of a very special series: Rocko’s Modern Life. According to the site, the return will be in the form of a TV movie, with the characters reacting to our modern 21st century. This’ll be quite a change for the cast of wacky characters since the show originally ran from 1993 to 1996. “I’m very happy to be rejoining Rocko and my friends from O-Town again,” series creator Joe Murray told EW. What I have found by bringing these characters back is that it’s not…

To begin this article, I’d like to say that I’m a huge fan of The Crow starring Brandon Lee. I own the Blu-Ray and give it a watch from time to time. Due to the fact that Lee died while shooting the film, his death, added on with the subject matter of the movie, gives a very supernatural-like vibe that will never again be replicated. For those of you who don’t know, James O’ Barr, the creator of The Crow comic book, made the comic as a way to cope with a horrible tragedy. In 1978, his fiance’, Beverly, was killed by…

While not official, an interesting bit of information has made its way onto Twitter: Been told the Untitled 2019 DC Film has been slotted and even put on WB marketing calendars. It’s a Harley movie ! pic.twitter.com/dTyCUgBC9m — Daniel Eliesen (@Daniel_Eliesen) August 10, 2016 While Suicide Squad’s perception was definitely mixed, I’m pretty sure that we can all agree that Margot Robbie was great as Harley Quinn. I’m not really surprised they made this move, considering the performance the actress pulled off. As the DC Cinematic Universe has only just began to take off, there are a number of different…

It looks like The Crow reboot is targeting Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa to star in the upcoming reboot. The report comes from Mashable and doesn’t really say much: Jason Momoa, the Game of Thrones alum who plays Aquaman in the upcoming DC comics films, is in talks to star in The Crow, Relativity’s reboot of the 1994 cult classic starring Brandon Lee, Mashable has exclusively learned.  Pretty interesting choice as I’m sure no one really saw this coming – unless of course you were looking at the actor’s Instagram – where he posted this picture of…

It looks like Warner Bros. initial plans for a Man of Steel sequel are back on the table! Apparently, a person familiar with the project said that the film is back in development. There isn’t really much else to go on for now but obviously, we will fill you in as more news on the project comes about. Man of Steel had a mixed reaction from both critics and fans, but was actually the highest reviewed film from this current DC Cinematic Universe. Personally, I enjoyed the film and didn’t really see the need for all of the complaining. I thought that about…
