The Venom movie comes out in October, but that hasn’t stopped Hasbro from releasing some new Venom and Carnage figures quite a while before its release. They aren’t said to be movie official figures, so it isn’t exactly sure whether or not the designs will be featured in the movie or not. Personally, I hope these are the designs – as they’re pretty cool! The photos come courtesy of THR: As far as the Venom movie is concerned, we should be getting a trailer for the film very soon. No plot details are currently known, but we do know it…

Last night, Marvel fans everywhere held their breath when it was revealed that Stan Lee had been sent to the hospital with an irregular heartbeat. TMZ broke the story, saying: Sources close to the comic book legend tell us … Lee was taken to Cedars-Sinai Wednesday night after suffering shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat. We’re told he’s still there, but in stable condition. The 95-year-old cancelled 2 major convention appearances last year for an illness, though he never revealed the specifics of his health struggles. It turns out things are okay, as Stan Lee conducted a video interview with…
Marvel’s Black Panther movie comes out next month, and fans everywhere couldn’t be more excited. What they might not know, however, is what we almost got a movie with the character back in the 90’s – starring Wesley Snipes! In a recent interview with THR, Snipes revealed quite a bit of information about the scrapped film: “We went through three different scripts and a couple of different director options — very interesting director options at the time.” He then spoke about his vision: “I laid on him my vision of the film being closer to what you see now: the…
Marvel fans everywhere are patiently awaiting the release of Black Panther, the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to hit theaters. The early reactions that were released online yesterday have only added to that anticipation, as they were overwhelmingly positive. One reaction that might have been overlooked is the fact that the film is said to take a subtle jab at current President of the United States, Donald Trump. Also, great speech from T’Challa that talks about building bridges and not walls (or something like that). The X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was expected to happen fairly soon after the Disney FOX deal. Apparently though, that might not be the case – according to Kevin Feige, the MCU release schedule is announced until 2019, and he isn’t planning on introducing the X-Men any time soon. In an interview with Vulture, Feige said: “We’re not thinking about it. We’re focusing on everything we’ve already announced. If and when the deal actually happens, we’ll start to think more about it. Until then, we have a lot to do.” He added: “It would be years away. We’ve announced everything…
Black Panther is the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film to come out, and it’s definitely one that fans are really looking forward to. However, buzz and the actual movie itself can be different at times, as sometimes a movie is buzzed about and ends up not living up to expectations. Is that the case with Black Panther? We highly doubt it, based on the film’s first reactions: Just saw #BlackPanther and really liked it! Can’t wait to see it with the family. Long live the king! pic.twitter.com/liz4EEAx2H — Nathan Best (@Nathan_Best) January 30, 2018 Black Panther looks, feels and sounds…
In a move that shouldn’t really surprise anyone, the production start date for the upcoming Gambit movie from FOX starring Channing Tatum has been given the axe. The news come right after the film was given a new release date. A new report from Omega Underground gives some details as to what’s apparently going on with the project: Omega Underground has confirmation that Gambit has been pulled for the time being off production schedules and I assume until a director has been found will be placed on hiatus until new dates can be scheduled dependent on who directs. I also…

Every once in a while during a scroll on the internet, you’ll find something so ridiculous, you’ll immediately believe it has to be satire – as there’s just no way it could possibly serious. First, it was the editorial suggesting that Dunkirk was just a movie for men to celebrate maleness. Then, there was the one that suggested Zack Snyder’s 300 was to blame for the rise of the alt-right. Now – we have one about how war movies glorify outdated models of masculinity. The post, courtesy of The Intercept, starts in about the MeToo movement, and then takes a…
