Margot Robbie’s portrayal of the clown princess of crime has gained a great acclaim from comic fans and marketing (let’s think how many people dressed up as her during conventions and Halloween this year alone). It seems Harley’s next major appearance in the DC Cinematic Universe will be quite an ensemble cast much like her Suicide Squad debut, as a Birds of Prey film as just revealed itself as one of the next steps for Warner Bros. The film was originally rumored to be a solo Harley Quinn film after announcements of the Harley Quinn actress herself and her production…

The latest film of the live-action Transformers film franchise, Transformers 5: The Last Knight, isn’t even released yet and plans of a spin-off film featuring the second-most recognized Autobot Bumblebee is already taking motion. The script has already been completed by industry newcomer Christina Hodson. Her only other resume credit is penning the script for the 2016 film Shut-In, which starred Naomi Watts. While the film has received mediocre reviews in general, Hodson has actually made it to the Black List of screenplays not once, but three times. The Black List is basically a collection of some of the best…

With the recent departure of Tim Miller from the director’s chair and composer Junkie XL following suit, it’s no surprise such large key players of the last film would have an impact on the production of Deadpool 2. Source has come from Collider that the scheduled filming to start in January has been made to a slight delay. The Merc with a Mouth has shifted down to a March shooting, and despite the dismay of fans for waiting longer, it may be safer to not rush the production. Let’s face it though, the patience fans had for the original being…

This weekend has apparently been about praising Ben Affleck. On Sunday, we exclusively reported on Charlie Cox and Elden Henson defending Ben Affleck’s hated (by the majority of fans and critics) portrayal of Daredevil and now, it appears he has another fan – but for a different performance. Marvel’s Daredevil actor Vincent D’Onofrio stated on Twitter that he’s got a bit of a DC fan in him too, expressing anticipation for the upcoming Wonder Woman from the new trailer: https://twitter.com/vincentdonofrio/status/794227271678697473 It wasn’t long before some fans grew a bit curious of his taste in the DCEU, rivaling his Marvel’s Cinematic Universe world…

The League’s enemy has just been confirmed to be part of Darkseid’s Elite. The person who will be bringing the character to life is Game of Thrones’ Mance Rayder himself. Actor Ciaran Hinds has been reported to be cast as Steppenwolf, who will serve as the primary antagonist of next year’s Justice League. Production has just finished, but chances the confirmation wasn’t speculated sooner was because the character is all motion capture. We’ve already seen Steppenwolf prior in his appearance in the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Cut, where the “mother boxes” shown before Lex Luthor are to…

Marvel has answered to the mass fandom shipping the Wall Crawler and Merc with a Mouth by making an official offspring in their comic series. Fan art and discussions of the witty duo (and one “slightly” more unhinged) and their bromance are nothing uncommon in the realms of the internet, and as often as bringing characters back to life or everyone having a massive survival rate, their trope of offsprings eventually made its way to the two in the form of the supervillain DNA hybrid that is known as Itsy Bitsy. Debuting in Joe Kelly’s Spider-Man/Deadpool #10, Itsy Bitsy holds…

Another hint of production drama seems to have been sourced regarding the upcoming The Batman film, and albeit not a usual source we would expect it from, it is certainly a believable one. Bret Easton Ellis, the writer of American Psycho and creator of the title character Patrick “not exactly Batman” Bateman, brought up some personal experience to The Ringer and a very disheartening perspective of the holders caring for the DCEU property: “I was having dinner with a couple of executives who know other executives who are working on the [forthcoming] Batman movie, The Batman. And they were just telling me…

Watchmen actor Patrick Wilson dressed up for the Halloween spirit to keep the streets safe of criminal activity in his hometown, in the form of his character from the film Nite Owl II. It’s very ironic for the character since his mentor Hollis’s death did occur on the night of Halloween in the story, which lead him to a brutal frenzy at that point of the film. Wilson tweeted the following picture showing off his vigilant presence: https://twitter.com/patrickwilson73/status/793276411926745089 Although his build has since improved compared to his chubbier film counterpart, Wilson really does show Dreiberg has gotten a bit less…

What really tilts the heads of some, however, is another notable reveal in the synopsis of the film, confirming…

The Justice League of America, not to be confused with the Justice League series and its classic team line-up, are launching more characters into its roster, featuring the likes of Black Canary, a workaholic Batman filling in for the standard Justice League run as well, and a certain Main Man on a motorcycle. Steve Orlando, writer of the JLA story, speaks with how Lobo will be interpreted into a superhero organization: For some people, Lobo will be a hero. For others, he’ll be an anti-hero. It’s moving past these black and white definitions and realizing that you have to have…
