Well, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I have some good news and some bad news. 2020 has been the year from hell. The COVID-19 global pandemic shut down the world, including the entertainment industry. Hollywood was at a stand still, productions were halted, theaters were closed down, and everything we were expecting to see got delayed, by a lot. In the case of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it looked like this would be the first year since 2009 without a Marvel property hitting our eyes. WandaVision, the new kicking off point for the MCU’s Phase 4, seemed to be…

It has been unfortunate that the COVID-19 global pandemic has all but halted the entertainment industry to a dead stop. Theaters closed down, productions stopped, releases were pushed back, and more. The Marvel Cinematic Universe was not immune to this new hellscape and were forced to postpone their entire Phase 4 release schedule. One such delay was for arguably the most anticipated film in Phase 4, Doctor Strange 2 AKA Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness. The Sam Raimi-helmed sequel for the Sorcerer Supreme looks to be the cornerstone for what will be the overarching story that is interwoven…

2020 has been a bit of a dumpster fire as far as most of us are concerned. The global pandemic has put the world on hold, we lost so many beloved celebrities, we’re dealing with an election seemingly run by Lambchop (it’s the election that never ends! Yes, it goes on and on, my friends!), and Marvel fans are getting their first year without a Marvel Cinematic Universe film in theaters since 2009! Not all is lost for the MCU faithful, however, as there is some hope for us all in the form of the connected Disney Plus series, WandaVision!…

Thanks to a very vocal fanbase pushing petitions and hashtags, WB will be releasing the Snyder Cut of Justice League on their HBO Max streaming service next year. The 4 hour event will showcase Zack Snyder back behind the director’s chair and giving everyone his original vision for the team up film. If fans remember, this was actually meant to be a two-part film series. Now, it will be 4 1-hour shows, before being combined into one very long film. As Snyder and the original cast start their reshoots for the film, talk of a possible sequel, and subsequently the…

Eternals was supposed to be released this month, but of course the world fell apart with an unprecedented global pandemic shutting the entertainment industry down, and forcing release dates to be postponed. Even though the film is now set to be released in November of 2021, a whole year away, the tie in marketing for the movie had already been completed. As such, while companies now have to sit on this marketing, many aspects are leaking out online. One such leak is our best look yet at Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo, and it looks fantastic! https://twitter.com/ETERNALSnews/status/1324017143051149313?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1324017143051149313%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fthedirect.com%2Farticle%2Fmcu-eternals-leak-kumail-nanjiani-marvel-superhero-costume Twitter has had a massive…

Ever since the news was released that Zack Snyder was finally receiving some ‘justice’ and that his original vision for Justice League would be coming to HBO Max in 2021, showing how effective fan petitions can really be, fans have been jumping on other comic book movies that, quite frankly, deserve to be seen for the original vision that the director meant it to be in the first place. One such film is David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. The film seemingly had tons of potential, and was highly touted by fans before its release, but studio interference gave us a shell…

The Marvel Cinematic Universe version of everyone’s favorite Friendly, Neighborhood Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland expertly, has has more suits than he has had solo films thus far. Tony Stark made him his first true superhero outfit, and also an updated version we know as the ‘Iron Spider’ suit. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, he got a tactical black spy suit from Nick Fury, and then made his own version with Stark tech in the end. But, for this universe’s Peter Parker, it all started with his homemade suit. We didn’t get a long look at this suit, though, only…

The global pandemic has halted the movie industry to a dead stop. Up until recently, productions were shut down, theaters were closed, and release dates have been consistently postponed. Now, as the world slowly tries to get back to some semblance of normal, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is setting up for their Phase 4, nearly a year after they expected to begin. As we are in November, fans were expecting to have already watched the solo Black Widow prequel film and would be preparing to see the epic and highly anticipated Eternals. However, with the film now delayed until November,…

If 2020 hadn’t the absolute disaster of a year that it has been, we would be preparing to see Eternals and still discussing the impact of the solo Black Widow prequel film on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film should have been released six months ago, and should be the talk of the nerd world. Instead, we have another six months to wait (after a tease of us getting it this month), but fans are still excited to see it. While we have an idea of what all the stars are doing, there is one actor that Marvel has very…

It is hard to deny that there are certain actors who are just synonymous with their roles. This is especially true in comic book movies, where an iconic and beloved character gets brought to life perfectly by by just the right actor. Robert Downey Jr. embodied Tony Stark, and there is no one else who could have played Iron Man as well as he did. Chris Evans was a questioned choice when first cast as Steve Rogers, but now is the only person anyone could see bringing Captain America to life. There is one actor in comic book movie history,…
