This year’s IT movie adaptation has been a massive success critically and at the Box Office. Fans everywhere are talking about the movie. Naturally, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that someone has drawn up what it would look like as Anime – and the results are great! The artwork comes from Mike Anderson: Bill Skarsgård’s performance as Pennywise the Clown is being praised, and it’s no surprise given how seriously the actor took the role: “In order for this movie to be as effective as the book and the series, I have to scare a whole generation. My take…

It’s long been asked when we could potentially see the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Apparently, that time is now – via a deleted scene from Spider-Man: Homecoming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5UJoYT6hr8&feature=youtu.be Kevin Feige has already said that the character does exist in the MCU: “All of those little things are just Easter eggs for fans until they’re something more than that. But anything that’s happened in the books is potential material for us. In the meantime, I think Miles is a big part of the animated movie that Sony’s making. But where we go … we definitely want…

Blade Runner 2049 is easily one of the most anticipated movies ever, and with that comes high expectations. We have good news, though, Sci-Fi fans, as the first reactions for the film are great! Our own @JimmytotheO calls @bladerunner “Astonishing… More than just a visual wonder, it’s a groundbreaking science fiction masterpiece.” pic.twitter.com/ulDJYJzMqT — JoBlo.com (@joblocom) September 26, 2017 BLADE RUNNER 2049 is sci-fi masterpiece; the kind of deep-cut genre film we don’t see anymore. While this year’s IT movie was a massive Box Office hit and critical success, one Stephen King movie adaptation, was not. The Dark Tower was terribly reviewed by fans and critics alike, most of which didn’t seem to like the changes from the book. In a recent interview with Vulture, Stephen King himself shed some light on what he thinks went wrong: “The major challenge was to do a film based on a series of books that’s really long, about 3,000 pages,” he said. “The other part of it was the decision to do a PG-13 feature adaptation of books that…

IT was easily one of the biggest hits of this year, currently having grossed almost $500 million worldwide against a budget of $35 million. Naturally, a sequel has been planned, known as IT: Chapter 2 – and apparently, we now have a release date! It should be noted that Warner Bros. have a majority stake in Rotten Tomatoes, so this seems to be pretty legit. Not much is known about the second chapter, aside from this: Even as New Line prepares for the Friday opening of its much anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s It, the company is moving toward a…

One thing that was pretty much known by everyone who has seen the 1990 IT adaptation starring Tim Curry or even read Stephen King’s novel, is that Georgie dies. Now, if you haven’t read the book, you may have been unaware as to how brutal the scene was supposed to be. The 1990 adaptation is fairly tame in this aspect, but the new one, isn’t. If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s your chance to look away, but if you’d like to anyway, take a look at this video comparing both: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5qv21eKFwg There’s obviously not even much of a comparison…

Pennywise the Clown isn’t just a clown. It’s an entity, one that is seemingly impossible to defeat. That is, of course, unless you are Batman. Batman killed a God once (I mean technically he comes back in Justice League, but still) so why not add something like IT to the list? A new fan video from Adeel of Steel gives us a pretty great look at how that potential showdown would be in this awesome new fan trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlWaXiJVwYI&feature=youtu.be We’ll see Batman next in Justice League, which Ben Affleck has revealed the caped crusader will be a much different character:…

Though Hugh Jackman has been viewed as irreplaceable as Marvel’s Wolverine, one actor I’ve seen get a positive reception by “fan casts” is Tom Hardy. Jackman even said he’d be okay with Hardy replacing him. It turns out we could have seen it, but Matthew Vaughn was turned down on the idea. In a recent interview with Deadline, Vaughn revealed: “After doing First Class, I really felt that I was playing in a sandpit that wasn’t my sandpit. It was Bryan Singer’s. Bryan wanted to direct First Class, and then we worked on the Days of Future Past screenplay. When…

Tim Curry’s portrayal of the serial killer clown in 1990’s IT adaptation is remembered by many of us (myself included) because it gave quite a bit of nightmares for years to come. The new Pennywise actor, Bill Skarsgård, was said to have traumatized children while filming this year’s IT movie adaptation, but apparently, he might not be the only one. Tim Curry revealed he did scare a child actor – though his story is a little funnier (video below): “I have a lot of sympathy for child actors. Most of them don’t know what the hell they’re doing there. There was…

Marvel’s Inhumans hasn’t had an easy road thus far. It was originally supposed to be a theatrical movie, until Marvel was able to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which put the Royal Family on hold. It was then announced that The Inhumans would be an ABC series but would premiere in IMAX before eventually airing on ABC. It’s also been said that the show was purposely produced quickly and cheaply – never a good sign. Well, it was screened to critics who absolutely destroyed it (it boasts a 7% on Rotten Tomatoes) and fans haven’t been kind based…
