With each coming day, it appears that something is in danger of being cancelled by people who deem it wrong in some type of way. Today it appears that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now on the list, as some believe Captain America: Civil War needs a change – because of the title. The topic was brought up when it was revealed that Oregon and Oregon State would no longer be using the term “Civil War” to promote athletic events. The schools said that it was due to the fact that the term represents a connection to a war to…

For many Marvel fans, Hugh Jackman will always be Wolverine. Sadly though, his run as the character came to an end in 2017 in Logan – in which he was given a send-off in a movie that was regarded as the best FOX movie Jackman did as the iconic character. It left fans wanting more, but Jackman has said he’s done with the role and won’t be returning – and as you already probably know, the rights to all of the X-Men characters reverted back to Marvel Studios after Disney acquired 20th Century FOX. So what’s next? Well, a new…

If you’re unfamiliar with the way things have been going lately, you probably have been living under a rock. Cancel culture is a thing that started by calling people out for takes on subjects that are deemed offensive and at first, an apology for past (or current) wrongdoings would likely be enough to be granted forgiveness. It was basically “callout culture”. Now, cancel culture has evolved into something much more than that, with people going back through years and years of social media posts to find mistakes or bad (sometimes awful) takes that someone may have made, and calling them…

To say that things in the United States are pretty bad right now would be a massive understatement. First, we had the Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent nationwide quarantine, which sent the economy spiraling downward. However, that seems like a thing of the past, as we’re now having lockdowns in certain parts of the country due to rioting – with some places having the National Guard brought in. The riots are not to be confused with the protests, that have been happening due to the death of George Floyd. Either way you look at it, things are pretty divided at the…

2020 has been a pretty terrible year when you take into account all that’s happened. Coronavirus came and had the United States locked down – though it appeared to be headed in the right direction with things starting to open back up. This past week, however, saw protests and riots over the death of George Floyd and it’s gotten so bad that it’s been said the U.S. military is going to get involved. Today has been dubbed #BlackoutTuesday on social media – in support of standing against racism. Actor Seth Rogen posted the message on his Instagram account – and…

If you’ve made any type of mistake on the internet or said the wrong thing (even if it was years ago) there are people out there who will want you gone – even if you apologize. It’s called cancel culture. It appears that cancel culture is going after another member of The Avengers – as we just saw it go after Robert Downey Jr. for his role in Tropic Thunder back in 2008. Scarlet Johannson received it for taking a role playing a Transgender person back in 2018, Chris Hemsworth took some heat for his recent film Extraction being “problematic”,…
