Today’s political climate is as divided as it’s ever been. We’re no longer in a time where people keep their political beliefs to themselves, as social media has given people a platform to voice their thoughts – and argue about them. This is also the case with notable figures in Hollywood or the comics industry, and Marvel Comics writer Dan Slott is no different. He had a pretty vocal take about the current President of the United States, Donald Trump. In a deleted tweet, the Fantastic Four and Iron Man 2020 writer said: This administration is NOT on top of…

Internet petitions and boycotts are pretty common these days, as people are always upset about something. That’s not a knock on anyone being upset about something – it’s just the truth. The movie industry is no stranger to outrage and boycotts, so it should come as no surprise that an upcoming Marvel Studios movie that is said to feature a gay superhero romance is garnering some controversy. Eternals is a pretty highly anticipated upcoming MCU movie – but it seems that a decent amount of the talk is about certain things in the film, and not the film itself. It…

A new commercial for the Nissan Sentra starring Brie Larson has caused some backlash, as everything these days seems to do. The initial commercial saw Nissan disable comments on their YouTube video for the commercial, which is titled “Refuse To Compromise”. At the time of writing, the video has over 3,500 “dislikes” and a little over 300 “likes”. There is, however, a video in which Larson discusses the commercial that now has people talking – as the comments aren’t yet disabled. When Larson was discussing the commercial, the Captain Marvel actress said: “It’s great to partner with Nissan on this…

The Batman is a pretty trendy topic right now, as most things with Batman normally are. The Robert Pattinson starring and Matt Reeves directed movie is currently filming, and Reeves keeps teasing fans with new videos and pictures, including the first look at Pattinson’s Batsuit a couple weeks back. Along with a full look at Pattinson’s Batsuit in leaked set photos just last week, it’s been enough for fans to talk, and the reaction has been mixed. And, the new look that Reeves just dropped today should be no different and be heavily talked about, as we get to see…

One of the most underrated movies of late would have to be Leigh Whannell’s Upgrade. The 2018 film had great reviews and even had a decently sized release in theaters for such a low budget film and did pretty well (making $11 million domestically against a $5 million budget). Unsurprisingly, the movie has gained a cult following – but hasn’t gained a massive one yet. Still, that hasn’t stopped the people who made from talking about a sequel, as the film’s ending definitely left it open for one. While promoting his new film The Invisible Woman, Whannell was asked about…

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have been a hot topic as of late. Following a leaked recording where Heard admitted to abusing Depp and even went as far as telling him that no one would believe he was a victim, quite a few people went to Heard’s Instagram and started bashing her. She allegedly deleted certain comments, and now, she has turned them off completely. It’s not really a surprise when you look at some of the comments she was getting: She turned off comments from January 17h til now & limited comments on other posts. Bitch, if you think…

Many fans were disappointed when Marvel’s The Punisher was cancelled by Netflix last year (Jessica Jones was also cancelled the same day), but the announcement wasn’t really a surprise, as Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist were all cancelled as well. Still, some had held out hope that this show would carry on, and a year later – that hasn’t changed, despite the show being cancelled with no real news of a revival at this point. Hope wasn’t the only feeling felt after the cancellation, though. DEAR @NETFLIX, REGARDING YOUR CANCELLATION OF THE PUNISHER, YOU ARE BLOWING IT!! SINCERELY, MARSHALL…

When the first design for Sonic in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie came out, I (like many others) was understandably worried that the film was going to be awful. While everything else in the trailer seemed reasonable, the design just wasn’t Sonic. After an incredible amount of backlash, director Jeff Fowler announced that the film had been delayed to redesign the character. The redesign worked, and we had a result that you could actually look at without disgust. The movie itself is pretty much your basic kids oriented movie, and there’s not really much that we haven’t seen already in…

If you watched Season 3 of Stranger Things – you know that the season ended on a less than happy note, as *SPOILER ALERT* it was assumed that Jim Hopper was dead. There were theories and other things that pointed to the character played by David Harbour still being alive, but it wasn’t a certainty. Until today, as Netflix has released the first trailer for Stranger Things Season 4 – and it confirms that Hopper is still alive! From Russia with love… pic.twitter.com/ZWEMgy63Et — Stranger Things (@Stranger_Things) February 14, 2020 As you can probably guess, fans are more than happy.…
