Avengers: Endgame really lived up to all of it’s hype. The incredible film was a fantastic final chapter to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first 3 phases, culminating an 11 year journey that extended through 22 films. We witnessed several beloved characters reach the end of their story in very emotional ways. Today would have been the release date for Justice League 2, if all the drastic changes to the DC Extended Universe hadn’t rapidly happened before the release of Justice League, with Zack Synder’s departure and the hiring of Joss Whedon and extensive rewrites. The change didn’t work, causing the film to bomb critically. This failure lead to even more drastic changes, now causing an even more confusing film multiverse type environment. But, what if Justice League hadn’t been altered (i.e. the supposed Synder Cut) and had been successful? Let’s explore what we know of what might have been. First off,…

The DC film universe has been in a state of constant flux ever since the debacle that was Justice League. Now, it looks like WB is moving towards two separate universes, one with the loosely connected, already established characters of Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Shazam, and another that will stand on its own, starting with Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Along with the newer, younger Bats, Supergirl is joining the fray. And, it looks like her film will work to eventually bring in a new version of her slightly more famous cousin, Superman. We Got This Covered is reporting that a…

Avengers: Endgame is one of the most massively successful movies of all time. Sitting currently in second, it is rapidly approaching the number one spot as we speak. It was also a historic film, having one of the most ambitious crossover of all time, and wrapping up an over decade long connected film universe that spanned 22 movies of interwoven storytelling known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And, while it is a widely loved film by the fanbase, there are some debates over the time travel ‘loopholes’ and other issues. Well, the folks over at ‘How It Should Have Ended’…

As Dr. Strange so eloquently put it, ‘We’re in the endgame now’. After the successful, climatic end to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 3 in Avengers: Endgame, all that is left is the epilogue with Spider-Man: Far From Home. But, this film will also serve as the prologue for the future of the MCU, and now we know it’s official rating. According to MCU Cosmic, the official rating will be PG-13. This isn’t really surprising, as it is the fairly standard rating in the MCU. And considering we’ve already heard Nick Fury throw out a well timed “Bitch, please!” in…

Even though he may have mastered the art of invisibility, it would seem that even Drax is not immune to the repercussions of the mighty Marvel Studios. Known for their near militant stance on secrecy with their films, the studio makes it incredibly hard for their actors to handle the press junket scene. Then, take into account that two of the biggest films ever, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, were shot at the same time over the course of a year or so. So, can you really blame Dave Bautista for accidentally letting a little bit slip during a…

It looks like Matt Reeves is pulling no punches in his Batman reboot trilogy. After casting the controversial choice of Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader and announcing a three film deal, Reeves is looking to give a younger, more noir style that focuses on the Bats skills as the ‘World’s Greatest Detective’. Well, if the latest rumors are true, it looks like The Dark Knight will have his hands full right from the get go. Not pulling any punches, it looks like Batman will be facing SIX villains on his first outing! Batman is of course known not only…

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been an unparalleled success in Hollywood. Even their ‘worst’ film in the franchise, Thor: The Dark World, made nearly $700 million dollars at the box office. The quasi-connected TV shows, however, have been more up and down. The biggest blight in all of the MCU, however, has got to be the utterly fail that was the Inhumans TV series on ABC. Canceled after one season, most fans don’t even acknowledge it’s existence. Yet, had things played out like originally planned, we would have seen the powerful evolved humans on the big screen last November. Now, it…

Avengers: Endgame is one of the most monumental films in history. It is less than $66 million (as of this writing) from taking the number one all time box office lead, and it’s still in the theaters. The film delivered on the epic, overarching story that has been interwoven in the 22 films that have made up the Marvel Cinematic Universe in over it’s first decade. The MCU itself is something that has never been accomplished; a successful multistory connected film universe. But, not every point can be hit on, even in all those movies, so fan theories have run…
