A new promotional image for the upcoming Marvel Team Up series ‘The Defenders’ has been released, and it’s sure to get fans talking. So far we’ve only been given one trailer, but I’m sure something will be released for the series at this month’s San Diego Comic Con, as well as something for the upcoming Punisher series. One thing we most likely won’t be given? A potential Defenders and Avengers crossover, as Daredevil actor Charlie Cox revealed that he hasn’t even been contacted about that possibility, as of last November: “I’d love that too. Those Easter eggs are thrilling to…

Back in April, details for a New Warriors series were released, stating the following: “New Warriors revolves around six young people with powers living and working together. With powers and abilities on the opposite end of the spectrum of The Avengers, the New Warriors want to make a difference in the world…even if the world isn’t ready. Spider-Man: Homecoming hit theaters this past weekend, and it’s safe to say that the film is a success both commercially and critically. The film’s buzz has brought back memories of 2002’s Spider-Man which starred Tobey Maguire as the title character, and Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin. Personally, I don’t really think the film has aged all that well, and I never really liked The Green Goblin’s costume for the film. Well, some behind-the-scenes video has re-surfaced, showing that we could have had a much different look for the character, a look more in line with the comics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEZBhL5lpqg&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fXAGC_B2Ys&feature=youtu.be…

Per Raimi: “But I had worked on the story with my brother Ivan, and primarily it was a story that featured the Sandman. It was really about Peter, Mary Jane, Harry, and that new character. But when we were…

Oscar nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe was asked in a recent interview with Variety what superhero she’d most like to play, and after throwing out names like Superman and Amanda Waller, she eventually settled on one. Batman. Because who wouldn’t want to be Batman, right? Well, Sidibe had a few different reasons as to why she’d want to play the iconic DC character: “Batman doesn’t have any superpowers. He’s not an alien, he’s a straight up human who happens to be rich. He’s like Super Privileged Man. He’s like White Privilege Man. But he’s got all these tools, and a super dark sense…

Marvel Comics have taken quite a few jabs at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they’ve done it – yet again. A few months back, we reported on a sequel to the 1999 film Deep Blue Sea, that never happened. From the sounds of it, it would have been insane, according to director Jack Perez: “What they were interested in was keeping the theme of shark experimentation. The script is about this scientific research ship that is seized by Somali pirates, and a team of Navy SEALs have to go in and take them out. The whole ship is basically a gigantic floating laboratory, with a maze of tunnels that the sharks can travel through that open up into tanks. My…
