While there were a lot of good horror movies this year, there were also a lot of bad ones. Actually, not just bad, just plain awful. Slender Man is the first one that comes to mind, as it was edited by Sony so badly that the movie was pretty much unwatchable. That’s not to say that there aren’t other bad films on this list, but I’m pretty sure you knew that would be #1. Spoiler alert. Kind of. Here are the worst horror movies of 2018 – according to Rotten Tomatoes. 10. Hell Fest Critics Consensus: Hell Fest might give less…

There have been quite a few notable horror movies in 2018 so far, and it would be hard to rank them all – but then again, that’s what Rotten Tomatoes is for, right? There are obviously some that a few of you will disagree on, but there might be some hidden gems in there for some of you as well. Here are the top 10 movies ranked by Rotten Tomatoes, considered to be horror movies – keep in mind it’s not RT actually rating them, but what all of the critics combined have said. 10. Netflix has revealed the first look at Henry Cavill in the upcoming series, The Witcher, and fans of the video game are most definitely going to be talking about it. Whether or not that’s good or bad, remains to be seen, as fans are completely unpredictable with this kind of stuff. They appear to be focused on the actor’s wig the most at this point, though. With the major success of The Meg this past summer, The Meg 2 was obviously on the mind of fans and the people behind it. To date, the film has made $527 million worldwide, so it’d be silly to pass up on a sequel when the first made such a giant amount of money. Well, people looking for a sequel may soon have their wish. The film’s executive producer Catherine Xujun Ying recently said the sequel is in early development: “That is definitely the plan. It’s still in the very early stages, but we’re working on it. We’re trying to keep it…

Mama 2 has been a film on the minds of many horror fans ever since Mama came out in 2013. The Andy Muschietti directed film was a hit with critics and at the box office, so a sequel seemed like a foregone conclusion. According to actor Javier Botet, who starred in the first film, that might no longer be the case. While speaking to Dread Central, Botet was asked about Mama 2, and revealed: “Well, there was a screenplay a few years ago. It was always a project that could be done, but I don’t know anything about it at this…

The first trailer for Discarnate has been released, and for those of you unfamiliar with the film, it features The Smiling Man in it. That might sound similar to Slender Man, but they’re actually quite different. We’ll get into more detail about The Smiling Man, but first, check out this bizarre trailer: If it’s referring to The Smiling Man from Creepypasta (the same place that Slender Man originated from), here’s a little backstory about the character: The Smiling Man is a dangerous humanoid with malicious intentions. In most stories, the Smiling Man has straggly red hair and a smile wider than…

Elves, a sequel to 2017’s The Elf, is on the way, and it doesn’t feature your typical Christmas Elves. These Elves are violent, and would most certainly make Santa’s naughty list. I don’t really think they give a shit though, as you can see in the film’s first trailer. There’s also been a new poster released: If horror movies are your thing, and you’re a fan of Puppet Master, then I’m sure you’ll definitely be into a film like this. If not, I’m not sure it would have your interest. But, if you were one of the people who watched…

Daredevil Season 3 is finally here, and if you’ve actually finished it, you know that it was quite possibly the best season of any Marvel Netflix show so far. With that being said, there would generally be more excitement about the show’s future, but that’s not currently the case, as Netflix has already cancelled Iron Fist and Luke Cage this month, and just last month decided against ordering any additional seasons of Defenders. As it currently stands, a fourth season of the show hasn’t yet been ordered, and no one really knows that the future holds for it. Charlie Cox,…

It’s hard to imagine Captain America being played by anyone other than Chris Evans. He’s made the MCU character loved by virtually all Marvel fans (and film fans alike), and when his time as the character is done, there will definitely be a big void in his absence. However, it wasn’t always Evans, as Wilson Bethel, aka Bullseye on Season 3 of Daredevil, revealed in a recent interview. Bethel spoke about the experience, saying: “I mean, that was both probably the single most exciting time of my life and also the single most devastating when it didn’t happen. But, yeah,…
