Black Panther is currently getting rave reviews, as it had a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes – until today. That’s right, there were 75 reviews on RT praising the film – but you knew this was going to happen. 2017’s Get Out had a similar fate, as it sat at 100% until one person gave it a negative review. The same can be said about Thor: Ragnarok. The reviewer in question? A site called Irish Independent, who writes: Black Panther spirals into a stodgy tale of internecine feuding, in which T’Challa is required to come to terms with the sins of…

We all know the Venom movie is coming out in October, and will most likely feature Carnage as the main villain. I’m honestly pretty pumped for the film, being a big fan of Venom and Carnage – but knowing Sony, I could see them ultimately wasting Carnage, which would be a shame, since there are a lot of possibilities with the character. Maximum Carnage comes to mind, and got me thinking. Sony could be trying to capitalize on nostalgia, which Maximum Carnage would definitely bring for a lot of Marvel Comics fans. The 14 part Spider-Man crossover comic was definitely…
A new Venom movie poster has been revealed, and the trailer is also expected to be delivered tomorrow! The poster was released on the social media accounts for the film, and while it doesn’t reveal many details, it does say tomorrow on it. Check it out down below: Tomorrow. #Venom pic.twitter.com/Rvh80gmhyI — Venom Movie (@VenomMovie) February 7, 2018 Hopefully, we’ll be given more plot details for the film, which have been essentially non-existent at this point. We know it will borrow from the Lethal Protector storyline, but other than that, not much is known. Carnage is said to be the…
We were given a Deadpool 2 teaser trailer a few months back, but fans were still awaiting the release of a full trailer. Well, fans no longer have to wait – as we now have a new one, and it features a look at Josh Brolin as Cable! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZNBFcwd7zc&feature=youtu.be This follows news from last month that the film would be getting an earlier release date than previously announced. It’s interesting because Brolin actually revealed that he almost turned down the role: “At first I was like, ‘I don’t know. I want to do George and Tammy. My wife – thank god…
The Cloverfield Paradox, aka Cloverfield 3, was released last night to Netflix in a very surprising move. It was announced during Super Bowl 52, so it got all kinds of buzz – but the reaction afterwards wasn’t really what the filmmakers had hoped for, as it currently sits at a terrible 15% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing this article. The Cloverfield Paradox Negative Reviews: CNN: Director Julius Onah’s film strands its solid cast in the vacuum of space with that most terrifying of monsters — an utterly convoluted script — producing a few tense moments but a…
A new TV spot was released for Avengers: Infinity War during Super Bowl 52 last night, and Marvel fans have already noticed quite a few interesting things from it. First, we finally get a look at Captain America’s new shield, but it turns out he has two new shields! Obviously, fans are going to miss the classic one, but I’m sure we will see it again at some point. The images below reveal this: Will we ever see Cap’s new shield again? Most likely. Okay, we all know we probably will see it again. But will we see Chris Evans…
Super Bowl 52 has been filled with all kinds of interesting commercials. We were given the first footage from Solo: A Star Wars Story, and now, we’ve been given some new footage from Avengers: Infinity War! Though it’s not a very long teaser, it’s still a pretty cool one, and features some new shots that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are sure to enjoy. An entire universe. Once and for all. #InfinityWar pic.twitter.com/HsCnL6mi8R — Marvel Entertainment (@Marvel) February 5, 2018 Earlier we revealed that Paul Bettany said that Marvel had fake scenes in Infinity War – to prevent leaks:…
The reaction to Star Wars: The Last Jedi was definitely a divided one, and pretty interesting in all honesty. Some hated, some loved it – and some decided to make their own “de-feminized cut” – to stick it to Disney. It’s not clear if Disney really cared or not, but what is clear, is that they wanted to include some gay Porgs in the film. And Twitter is freaking out about it: only male porgs have orange plumage around their eyes, and both snuggling porgs have those markings. gay porgs, folks. tlj is a gift that keeps on giving pic.twitter.com/yxDO6HJ3iD…
As the release of Avengers: Infinity War gets closer, many fans are speculating as to what is going to happen in the very important Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Beloved characters are expected to die, but no one is quite sure who – if any. Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo is now adding to the speculation, with a cryptic Facebook post he just sent out: We actually speculated that Hulk’s end could be very near. Though – Mark Ruffalo will still be around until at least Avengers 4, as Ruffalo himself revealed back in October: “So basically, Kevin [Feige] pulled me aside…
If you happened to Google Stephen King at this very moment in time, you’d find out that the author actually died on May 16th, 2006. Obviously, this is not the case, as he’s still very much alive, but a couple of simple Google searches will provide you with some pretty interesting information: If you’re looking to follow up on this, you’ll likely find this other bit of information: It’s similar to when Rotten Tomatoes pronounced James Carpenter dead last week, though Rotten Tomatoes isn’t the giant that Google is. Carpenter still managed to respond to it, though: To Rotten Tomatoes,…
