First it was the critical response that poked fun at Batman v Superman. Then a number of Deadpool and Marvel comics. Now, the animated Justice League Action Series has put in their shots. Last year’s Suicide Squad was a lot if people’s anticipated movie. However, despite winning an Oscar for Best Make-up it was released to less than stellar reviews. The fallout from this was Jared Leto openly complaining about the lack of Joker in the film despite him saying they had filmed a lot of material. D23 has just closed and with it – the first footage from Avengers: Infinity War has been released. Infinity War is the jewel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe crown. Since Iron Man in 2008, everything has been building towards this. This first footage from Infinity War has been shown at the D23 conference and it has showcased a number of Marvel heroes. As with all Comic Book Movies accompanying them are an array of child friendly, movie referencing toys. With San Diego Comic Con coming up, there has been an abundance of releases including Lego, Funko Pops, and now a new toy has been released that shows a version of the main Justice League villain Steppenwolf. While speaking with The Toronto Sun on promotion for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Kevin Feige had quite a bit to say. He shot down the suggestion that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man would appear in Sony’s Venom movie by saying. “No, what [Sony] is doing is completely separate.” But he also went into further detail about the life-span of the Marvel Cinimatic Universe. Out of the six main X-Men films, four have had Jean Grey play an integral part of the story.
