Disney has had quite a few notable live-action remakes over the past few years, but none of them have been as controversial as Aladdin. Early marketing so far, including a teaser debuted during the Grammy’s, has been poorly received, with audiences making a meme out of Will Smith’s Genie and his wonky CGI.
