In the tradition of LEGO revealing concepts from big-budget blockbusters, it seems they’ve done it again. This time to Marvel’s Doctor Strange adaptation. The playset features Doctor Strange’s New York residence, the Sanctum Sanctorum. The playset also features two other characters besides Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) that may play a big role in the film’s variation of the scene – Wong (Benedict Wong), and Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor). With that said, the scene likely takes place later on in the film. Obvious potential SPOILERS follow: Along with that, the monster in the playset bares resemblance to a character from Marvel…

Details on Alien: Covenant have more or less been scarce, especially in regards to characters. And considering it is a follow-up to 2012’s Prometheus, it’s a bit surprising that Noomi Rapace (who played Elizabeth Shaw in Prometheus) will not be returning. Michael Fassbender, however, who played the eerily “synthetic” David will be returning for the new movie. There’s also one other character that functions as connective tissue, although it’s a bit of a spoiler – so you’ve been warned. SPOILERS AHEAD! According to the Playlist, sources close to the film as well as starring actress Katherine Waterson have revealed she…

Before Jurassic World, Universal made several attempts at a sequel to Jurassic Park III, one of which focused on a totally ridiculous concept of weaponized dinosaur/human hybrids working for the military. Yeah. This was exclusively revealed by Bloody-Disgusting years ago, however new concept images have recently been released including a weaponized raptor-man. This was an image released by Carlos Huante, who has worked as a professional creature designer since 1985 and contributed to projects such as Men in Black and Prometheus. The art is nothing short of shocking, and not in a very good way. I could picture this as…

Comic book films and superhero movies are something that’s been in surplus for today’s moviegoers. Norman Reedus has recently become quite associated with motorcycles and motorcycle culture. Firstly, his biker-esque character in AMC’s The Walking Dead is often seen riding motorcycles. And, with that said, this paved the way for another AMC series titled Ride With Norman Reedus; which follows the titular actor as he explores biker culture. Coincidentally Marvel has also recently reacquired the film rights to a character equally synonymous with biker culture – the iconic Ghost Rider, a legendary figure with the supernatural power to protect the innocent and rid the world of villainy. So, naturally in an interview with Uproxx they…

John Carpenter’s The Thing is a quintessential film for any self-respecting horror fan. It boasts a wonderfully claustrophobic setting, a haunting soundtrack, interesting characters, perfect pacing, and special effects that blow away any other 1980s horror film (and perhaps any other 1980s film in general). With that said, fans can rejoice now that Scream Factory, a distribution offshoot of Shout Factory which specializes in releasing horror and science-fiction films, will be releasing The Thing this September. The film is based on a 1938 novel by John W. Campbell, Jr. which was previously adapted as The Thing From Another World in…

Toby Kebbel, the actor for Doctor Doom in the new (and universally hated) Fantastic Four reboot decided to reflect on the film and reveal that there’s a “great” unreleased cut of the film. While discussing the movie “Warcraft” with TheDailyBeast, Kebbel managed to say “Blockbusters… Aren’t blockbusters successful?” before discussing the unreleased cut of the movie. “I tell you, the honest truth is (Trank) did cut a great film that you’ll never see… That is a shame. A much darker version, and you’ll never see it.” The actor also explained that he “spent so long figuring out an accent that…

The upcoming DC Comics film Suicide Squad has unsurprisingly been rated PG-13, however the reasons why seem to indicate that it was very much almost an R-Rating. This was expected as some time ago producer Charles Roven managed to say that: “Our plan right now is to make all these films PG-13. In some cases, you know, right there on the edge of PG-13, but still PG-13.” It seems like this is going to be one of the edgier films, as revealed in the MPAA’s reasoning for the rating: PG-13 for sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behavior, suggestive…
