For those of you who were young during the late 90’s/early 2000’s, you probably remember a lot of movies being better than what they actually were. That’s not to say that there weren’t a lot of good movies that were released during that time period – but it happens with all of us. One of the movies I remember being “interesting” was Deep Blue Sea. While I didn’t really remember much of it until I re-watched it when it was on HBO a few months back, one scene that stuck with me was this one with Samuel L. Jackson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz1J9PUcMQ0…

Back in September, we reported on the details of the New Warriors series that Marvel was planning. One of our sources gave us some interesting information about the potential lineup of the upcoming team-up series – that included Squirrel Girl. Now, THR has confirmed the following: “In a competitive situation with other cable and streaming outlets bidding, the younger-skewing Disney-owned cable network has handed out a straight-to-series order for New Warriors, the comic book powerhouse’s first 30-minute live-action comedy. Cougar Town and Scrubs alum Kevin Biegel is near a deal to pen the script and serve as showrunner on the…

One of the most anticipated releases for 2017 is Spider-Man: Homecoming. It’s the first Spider-Man film to be set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and many are very excited after Tom Holland’s performance in Captain America: Civil War. While speaking to MTV, Holland revealed that he’d like to see a certain Spider-Man villain appear and be played by a very interesting actor: “You know what? Kraven is one of my favorites for a cameo. I always wanted Aquaman to play Kraven, but he’s now DC. I thought that would be super cool.” IF you think about it, the casting would…

The trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation of Stephen King’s popular novel IT was released earlier this week, and buzz could not be higher for the film. The trailer didn’t reveal too much at all but has a very creepy vibe and Pennywise is looking as scary as ever. People who were scared of clowns before will surely be even more scared once the movie comes out. Well, something that is scary in all the wrong ways would be Michael Myers’ Cat in the Hat film from 2005. The film was critically panned and it was assumed that the version…

In a day full of fake news, one thing is certain. That’s that Nicolas Cage has been confirmed as Hugh Jackman’s replacement for the role of The Wolverine. The role has been played for 17 years by Jackman, and most thought that FOX would hold off on casting the character so soon. I mean, Logan is STILL in theaters! But Fox will be Fox, I guess. In a recent conversation with our very exclusive source, we were told the following: “FOX wanted someone that could really channel their inner rage for the role of Wolverine. After a lot of careful…

After Brad Pitt was revealed to have dropped out of the role of Cable in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, the producers went back to the drawing board. And apparently, they began their search with watching 2011’s Moneyball. In a time where rumors are running wild, it’s good to finally get some closure on this very sought after role. While it may not be the choice you were expecting, we can all agree that it’s good it’s finally over with. An anonymous source has revealed the following to us: “The producers went in and watched Moneyball together and decided that they would…

The first trailer for the upcoming IT remake has finally been released. After a series of posters and teasers, it’s finally here. The general atmosphere of the trailer reminds me of Sinister, so it definitely has that going for it. One thing noticeably (and understandably) not really present in the preview is Pennywise The Clown. We just get a few glimpses of the character and don’t ever hear him speak. The casting appears to be on point with all the children, though. It does appear that they’re going for a much, much darker tone than the original film from 1990…

The new trailer for JUSTICE LEAGUE is finally here and it was definitely worth the wait. It’s action packed and has some pretty amazing visual shots. Then again, what Zack Snyder film doesn’t? Many complained about the tone of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice being way too dark, but personally, I liked it, and it fit what Snyder was trying to do for the DCEU very well. However, some fans didn’t agree, and it appears the tone of Justice League will be a bit more light, but still feels like the right amount of both. We’ve never seen these…

From the beginning, based on the trailers and pictures, the first film that would come to mind that Life would seemingly be borrowing from would be Alien. Obviously, the similarities are there, but I think comparing it to only Alien would be a bit misleading. The set-up is reminiscent of typical 80’s Sci-Fi, and the bloody violence and general atmosphere of the film is sure to entertain fans of that genre. There’s also definitely a B-Movie feel to it. Though, it’s not exactly a low budget film, with the estimated cost to make the film sitting at $60 million. The…
